Brooklyn Public Library's magnificent Dr. S. Stevan Dweck Center
for Contemporary Culture has been the home of the BPL Chamber Players
since its opening in the fall of 2007. This world class chamber
music series remains free of any admission charge to its audience.
Participating performers have included a host of today's most exciting
musicians including Eugene Drucker and David Finckel of the Emerson
String Quartet, the Daedalus, Escher, Enso and Chiara String Quartets,
David Krakauer, Benjamin Hochman, Simone Dinnerstein, Windscape,
the Imani Winds, American Brass Quintet, Trio Solisti, the Claremont
and Apollo Trios, the Clarosa Piano Quartet, Kenneth Cooper, Susan
Rotholz, and Carol Wincenc.
This series is made possible with public
funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support
of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
